The following components are integrated into the bikePAYMENT protection package:

  • Registering the bike with the fase24 registration database

    • Insurance coverage including assistance services from Allianz Partners

    Highlights at a glance:

  • Registration of your bike at fase24 included

    • No excess (except in case of theft in Mallorca)

  • 5 years replacement value in case of theft & total loss

  • Coverage of repair costs for accident, fall, breakdown and handling damage, including parts.

    • Up to 5 years coverage of the costs of a defective battery, even in the case of frost damage

    Insurance coverage also applies to a second battery included as standard with the purchase.

  • Organization of repatriation and restoration of mobility up to EUR 200 is included in the insurance coverage.

    • Insurance coverage in Austria, neighboring countries, Croatia & Mallorca

    Insurance for company bicycles is possible.

    E-bikes and bicycles up to €12,000 can be insured for up to 12 months after purchase.

    Which bicycles can be insured with bikePAYMENT?

    All bicycles and e-bikes with a total purchase price of up to €12,000 (gross) can be insured. Insurance can be taken out up to 12 months after purchase, provided the bicycle is undamaged and a current photo of the bike is uploaded during the fase24 registration process. The minimum contract term is two years.

     

    How is the damage/theft reported?

    You can access the online damage forms via the menu item “bikePAYMENT Damage Report” on www.fase24.at.

     

    How do I report a breakdown where I need on-site assistance?

    By phone at 43 1 525 036 875, Monday to Sunday from 0 to 24 hours


    

    Against which risks is your bicycle/e-bike insured?

    *E-bikes/bicycles must be secured against burglary, theft and robbery with a security lock (original purchase price at least EUR 50).

    You will need:

    Your email address

  • Photo of your bicycle/e-bike invoice

  • Your bike's frame number

  • Photo of your officially valid photo ID (identity card, driver's license or passport)

    • Photo of the bicycle

  • Photo of your bicycle lock receipt (or lock confirmation - see Downloads). The lock must be worth at least 50 euros!

  • IBAN (for SEPA direct debit of the annual insurance premium)

    • Please check your information! Changes to the frame number or uploaded images are not possible afterwards.

    The appropriate protection package (e-bike or bicycle) is automatically determined based on the data you enter.

    After you have entered and confirmed all the data, you will receive all further documents by email. Please also check your spam folder.
