WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:
INCLUSIVE SERVICES when renting
Upon request, we can provide you with the following accessories:
- bicycle helmet
- Breakdown kit with first aid kit: When using the breakdown kit and a tube, the old tube must be handed in to the shop for inspection.
- Bicycle lock
- Overview map
- Bottle cage: All bikes are equipped with a bottle cage as standard.
- Battery charger: The charger is included for e-bike rentals of 2 days or more.
Otherwise available upon request for an additional charge.
Important information about your rental request:
- Flat Pedals: All bikes are equipped with platform pedals (flat pedals).
- Multi-day rentals: For longer rental periods, you can leave your bike in our shop overnight for charging – we will charge it for you.
- Your own SPD pedals: We're happy to install your own SPD clipless pedals on your rental bike. Shimano SPD pedals are available free of charge with a pre-booking (reservation required, limited availability).
- Delivery service: On request, we deliver your rental bike directly to your accommodation in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. Price per delivery and/or pickup (1-4 bikes): €15.
- Our quality brands: Conway, Mondraker, Simplon, Victoria, Bell and Giro
- Tiered prices only apply to consecutive days. If you miss a day, the rental price starts again.
Important rental information:
- Rental agreement: For the rental, we require a completed and signed rental agreement as well as a copy of an identification document (identity card, passport or driver's license).
- Reservation: Secure the bike you want.
- Not suitable for trails: Our hardtail, city, and children's bikes are not suitable for singletrack or downhill routes.
- Not suitable for downhill and jumps: E-MTBs and MTB full suspension bikes are not suitable for jumps or downhill.
- Bicycle pickup: Bicycles must be picked up by 11:00 a.m. at the latest. If you are due to pick up later, please let us know.
- Return: Please return your bike by 6:00 PM at the latest (high season - low season by 5:00 PM). Otherwise, you will be charged for an additional day.
- Damage: Any damage to rental bikes will be billed for the repair costs. Our bikes can be insured up to a value of €500 with our in-house bike insurance. Alternatively, you can check your own liability insurance or take out private liability insurance that covers damage to rental bikes. All damages must be paid immediately.
